Launch of Saucony BKK 10K, Thailand’s First International Running Event

Saucony Thailand has launched the "Saucony BKK 10K," an international running event that elevates Bangkok as a city of running culture and spreads the "RUN AS ONE" energy throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Bangkok, 14 Jul 2026 GMT+7 – Saucony Thailand, operated by Rev Edition Co., Ltd., the exclusive importer and distributor in Thailand, announced the launch of its first international running event in Thailand, the “Saucony BKK 10K,” which is included in the Saucony 10K Series, alongside major world cities such as Berlin, London, Paris, and Hong Kong, reflecting the trust of Saucony Global in selecting Bangkok as the host city for the Asia-Pacific region. The event aims to raise the standard of race organization to an international level and offers Thai and international runners the chance to experience running through central Bangkok while fostering a sustainable running community.

The race will be held under the concept of "RUN AS ONE", which symbolizes the unity of runners of all levels, nationalities, and cultures, offering an experience that blends Performance, Lifestyle, and Running Culture, while helping to position Bangkok as a key sports tourism destination in Asia.

The Saucony BKK 10K race is scheduled for Sunday morning, 25 Oct 2026 GMT+7, starting at Siam Square, in the heart of Bangkok, using the city's iconic landmarks as the event’s focal points to deliver a world-class running experience that connects sports, lifestyle, art, and Bangkok’s culture. It welcomes both Thai and international runners to explore the city’s charm through a carefully designed race route.

At the press conference, Saucony Thailand revealed the project’s concept and direction, announcing partnerships with both public and private sectors to promote Thailand as a hub for international running events. They anticipate over 5,000 runners from Thailand and abroad, generating economic activity for tourism, hotels, restaurants, and local businesses, thereby stimulating the economy through sports tourism in a tangible way.

Beyond the race itself, Saucony BKK 10K is designed as a Running Festival offering runners and attendees a variety of experiences throughout the week, including a Race Expo, Community Run, Shake Out Run, partner activities, Sport & Lifestyle Experiences, and an Entertainment Festival. This reflects Saucony’s vision to build a sustainable running community.

Siraporn Watthana, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Rev Edition Co., Ltd., said, "Saucony BKK 10K is not just a race; it is a platform that connects people, the city, and running culture. We want Bangkok to be a destination runners worldwide aspire to visit, delivering a world-class experience that embodies Saucony’s spirit under the RUN AS ONE concept."

The event also unveiled the Race Jersey, Finisher Medal, Race Experience, and various race elements designed to meet international standards, alongside activities from partners and leading brands that will enliven the event throughout the race weekend.

Saucony Thailand is confident that the Saucony BKK 10K will become a significant milestone in Thailand’s running scene and a platform showcasing Thailand’s capability to host international running events, promoting the economy, tourism, and inspiring people to lead more active lifestyles.
