Thairath TV joins forces with partners to broadcast the 2026 Asian Games live – the exclusive destination to cheer for Thai football.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), and the National Sports Development Fund have joined with government agencies and private sector partners to announce readiness for live broadcasts of the 20th Asian Games and 5th Asian Para Games "Aichi-Nagoya 2026" from Japan.
This initiative aims to provide all Thai people across the country the opportunity to follow the competitions and support the Thai athletes extensively via both digital TV and online platforms. The 20th Asian Games, from 10 September to 4 October 2026, will be broadcast on seven digital TV channels: NBT, T Sports 7, 9 MCOT HD, ONE 31, MONOMAX SPORTS TV, Thairath TV 32, and PPTV HD 36.
The press conference featured Mr. Surasak Pancharoenworakul, Minister of Tourism and Sports; Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand; Mr. Thanukiat Chanchum, Manager of the National Sports Development Fund; and Mr. Watcharapol Watcharapol, Co-CEO of Thairath TV and Thairath Online.
Mr. Watcharapol stated, "This time, Thairath TV has been assigned to broadcast live from 20 to 29 September, daily from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m., featuring a variety of sports. Details can be followed on Thairath Sport. Importantly, all Thai football matches except the first one will be shown exclusively on Thairath TV."
