RodFai Blue claimed the 'A' trophy championship, coming from behind to win the 100 Plus Thai Tennis League Season 5 final.
The mixed team tennis competition, the 100 Plus Thai Tennis League 2026, held its fifth edition with a total prize pool of over 500,000 baht at the ALM X IMPACT Tennis and Sport Center in Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi. The final day concluded on the evening of 24 Aug 2026 GMT+7 amid a joyful and lively atmosphere among participants.
The highlight was the battle for the 'A' trophy, with the champion team set to receive 120,000 baht. The competition was intense, featuring four teams playing round-robin matches: Glass House (the defending champions), RodFai Blue, UNLOSER A, and RodFai Gold.
In the round-robin, Glass House won all three matches, finishing first and advancing directly to the final to face RodFai Blue, who placed second with two wins and one loss. The third-place playoff featured RodFai Gold (one win, two losses) against UNLOSER A (three losses).
The final consisted of seven matches. Glass House started strong, taking a 2-0 lead with wins in the youth mixed doubles by Ariyaphol Likhun and Sornwisa Kulpisanrat over Techatham Srisen and Chotirin Kaewka 6-1, and the general mixed doubles by Thanakorn Srirat and Lalda Kamhom defeating Patcharapol Kawin and Kamolwan Buayem 7-5.
RodFai Blue narrowed the gap to 1-2 with a win in the women's doubles (combined age 90 years) by Dawdueng Pholgaran and Kulnan Jitsawat over Jenjira Nimmanhemin and Chumaporn Wongsai Chue at 6-3.
Glass House extended their lead to 3-1 in the mixed doubles (combined age 100 years) when Krisnalanchan Saklayoswong and Chanchai Umkrai showcased great teamwork to beat Bongkot Tangwongkit and Worawut Phakchaiwut 6-2.
Despite trailing, RodFai Blue fought back strongly, winning the remaining three matches. In men's doubles (combined age 90 years), Nitisak Muangnua and Aksit Thepkasikul defeated Pongsiri Niroj and Jatupol Pongprecha 6-2. In men's doubles (combined age 110 years), Jirapong Rojanavasee and Suntorn Radabut won against Jirawat Rakkanapet and Wisetsin Saenphuwa 6-4.
The final and deciding match was the men's doubles (combined age 130 years), which was fiercely contested and went to a tiebreak. Lt. Col. Kraiphet Worasombat and Nipit Sricharoen edged out Narunat Photdokmai and Suntorn Klahan 7-6, winning the tiebreak 7-4.
These results gave RodFai Blue a comeback victory of 4-3 matches, crowning them the 'A' trophy champions of the 100 Plus Thai Tennis League Season 5, along with the 120,000 baht prize. Runner-up Glass House received 60,000 baht. In the third-place playoff, RodFai Gold defeated UNLOSER A 4-3, earning 30,000 baht, while UNLOSER A took home 15,000 baht.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony led by "Tammy," Ms. Tammarin Thanasukan, former world No. 19 tennis player and event organizer, who presented the trophies. Special awards were also given, including Outstanding Team Manager to RodFai Blue’s manager, two Outstanding Coach awards, and Outstanding Male and Female Player awards.
The 100 Plus Thai Tennis League 2026 mixed team tennis competition was supported by sponsors including 100 Plus, ASICS Thailand, Head, and SUNTORY MRP.
