Some Vietnamese volleyball fans were concerned because Pimpichaya’s serve landed on the line, and the referee ruled the ball in, granting Thailand the "championship point."
Some viewed the call as borderline, questioning whether the ball was in or out since most replays showed camera angles along the court’s length. Additionally, the Vietnamese team had no challenges left, forcing them to accept the referee's decision.
However, the point was confirmed to be 100% in by Somchai Donpraiyod, a member of the Thai women's volleyball staff, who posted referee camera angle images clearly showing the ball landed in.
