What’s Happening! “Yameen” Questions Whether the Thailand Volleyball League Is a Full-Time or Part-Time Profession

What’s happening! “Yameen” Krisada Nilsawai questions whether the Thailand Volleyball League is a full-time or part-time profession.

On 25 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the new season of the professional volleyball league, "TVA Channel Thailand Volleyball League 2026," is set to begin. Matches will run from 7 January to 5 April 2026, with the first week held at MCC Hall, The Mall Bangkhae, and will be broadcast live on channels one 31 and GMM 25.

Recently, Krisada Nilsawai, known as “Yameen,” the top fast attacker of Thailand’s men’s national volleyball team, questioned the Thailand Volleyball League’s lack of a main sponsor. He stated, “Our women's volleyball has reached the world stage, and men's volleyball is on its way, but the professional league has no sponsor. So, is the Thai league full-time or part-time?”

Yameen recently officially announced his retirement from national team duties after leading Thailand’s men’s volleyball team to win the SEA Games gold medal for the first time in eight years. However, he continues to play professionally and currently represents the Nakhon Ratchasima Qmin C VC club.
