Malie Youth Will Not Tolerate! Yamin Furious Over Ice Hockey Allowance: Signed for 28,000 but Received Only 5,000 (Video)

Kritsada Nilsawai, a Thai national volleyball player, posted a heated video about ice hockey players signing for a 28,000 baht allowance but actually receiving only 5,000 baht.

On 5 Feb 2026 GMT+7, former Thai national ice hockey player Cholpan Ingkratpitakorn revealed that he had signed to receive a 28,000 baht allowance while competing abroad in two tournaments and training for about 2-3 months prior. However, he actually received only 5,000 baht because deductions were made for travel and accommodation expenses.

Recently, Kritsada Nilsawai, a male Thai national volleyball player who previously spoke out about athletes’ allowance issues, posted a video commenting on this matter.

“I often encountered the Thai national ice hockey players at the gym. They said that when competing abroad they received an allowance of only 5,000 baht. That’s really something,” he said.

“Honestly, some things need to be spoken out about—not just talked about—to bring about the right kind of change. I don’t want to talk too much because I’m tired of it. I’ve said a lot already, so others should speak up too.”

“There’s also recent news about cutting funding for elite sports. I’ll gather more information and speak about it again. The budget has been cut from 2 billion to 1.2 billion baht. What’s going on with Thai sports?”

“So will I get a daily allowance increase? Or do I have to wait until the new government is formed? I’m just waiting like that. I don’t want 600 baht; no, no, I want more. Okay? Love you.”

Regarding Thai athletes’ allowances, the National Olympic Committee of Thailand is actively pushing the new government to increase funding for athletes, and the policy of the new administration will be closely followed.
