Arouma, a legend of the 7 Masters, revealed how she and the juniors on the team bridge the age gap and prepare to continue competing in Leg 2 of the Thailand Volleyball League.
On 19 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Arouma Sithirak, a veteran of the GLO MIRACLE Nakhon Nonthaburi team, shared her thoughts on the team's overall situation in Leg 2, saying that the atmosphere and team system have become more settled after many players had to split up in Leg 1 to attend to other duties, including university and under-18 competitions, which limited full-team practice sessions.
“In Leg 2, we have returned to more team system practices, combining seniors and juniors, which has improved our game understanding compared to before,” Arouma said.
When asked about the gap between senior and junior athletes, Arouma admitted it wasn’t about the younger players being stubborn but more about the “distance” between them. Some still feel hesitant to fully express themselves out of respect for seniors, while others are beginning to show their potential more confidently.
“There is a slight gap; some youngsters aren’t yet playing at 100%, still hesitant and cautious, so we need to adjust and tune in to help the team understand each other better.”
As a senior on the team, Arouma explained that breaking the ice or building closeness has no special method — it focuses on practicing together. If there are areas that need improvement, they talk openly and give direct feedback to avoid affecting the team’s overall performance in the long term.
Finally, Arouma asked volleyball fans to follow and support the GLO MIRACLE Nakhon Nonthaburi team in Leg 2, assuring that everyone will do their best to achieve the best results for the team.
