Coach Oat revealed a short-term team preparation plan focusing on multiple "test games" to evaluate the team system before entering important competitions in late April, stressing that this period will be used to select and fine-tune players for the best possible lineup.
On 9 April 2026, the training schedule began on 8-11 April, initially emphasizing physical conditioning, then progressing to basic skills and techniques, concluding with a test game on 11 April to assess the team's overall short-term performance.
Afterwards, the athletes will rest during the Songkran festival before returning to camp on 15 April and resuming continuous training from 16 April until the end of the month and into the following month to prepare for important tournaments.
A key focus is organizing "test games" with clubs, especially Supreem and Nakhon Ratchasima, including discussions about dividing players between teams and scheduling a test match this Saturday to evaluate player capabilities and cohesion under real conditions.
Coach Oat stated that before the Asian Club Championship on 26 April, the team aims to have at least 2-3 test matches to comprehensively assess readiness in all aspects.
He also congratulated the athletes who passed the team selection, emphasizing that the process was rigorous. The coaching staff spent several weeks deliberating and monitored player performance across all competitions through live viewing and broadcast analysis.
“Those who demonstrate outstanding ability are invited to join for development and position suitability assessment before finalizing the best lineup for competition,” Coach Oat said.
The team aims to prepare for two major events: the VNL and CVL. The "test games" will be central to screening and building the strongest team before official matches.
