After the conclusion of the 2026 AVC Women's Champions League, where the team secured the runner-up position, Sasipaporn Chanthavisut, also known as “Aomsin,” expressed her feelings, saying she was very happy to have played against the Japanese team, describing it as a quality match that allowed the team to learn and gain important experience.
On 30 April 2026 GMT+7, she stated that the team atmosphere was very positive, with everyone giving their best effort, marking an impressive end to the tournament. She emphasized that this competition provided the players with a chance to "practice in real conditions" before fully entering the Thai national team camp.
“Matches like this impact us significantly. They serve as preparation because from now on, we will face tougher games in the national team camp. Every team is strong, so this is beneficial for developing our form further.”
When asked about her confidence for the upcoming national-level competitions, Aomsin firmly stated that the team’s goal is to defeat every opponent. Despite being in a challenging group, everyone is fully determined.
“There’s nothing more to say except that we have to fight. We will strive to beat every team. I believe this year everyone shares the same goal.”
Additionally, Aomsin spoke about her own development this year, noting increased confidence both in her gameplay and communication on the court. She acknowledged that past criticisms have been an important driving force making her stronger.
“I feel prouder of myself now. I’m braver in playing and speaking up. I also want to thank both the praise and the criticism—they have helped me grow to where I am today.”
Finally, she sent a message to Thai volleyball fans, asking them to continue supporting the national team in the upcoming busy competition schedule, emphasizing the need for ongoing encouragement from supporters.
“I would like everyone to keep cheering for the Thai national team. We have many matches this year, and we will give our best.”
