"Beam" Pimpichaya Kokram, a Thai national volleyball player, revealed a significant career decision, confirming herself that she will definitely move to play in the American league next season after gaining two full years of experience playing volleyball in Europe.
On 7 May 2026, there was news about the Thai women's national volleyball team as players began arriving at the training camp. Among them was Beam Pimpichaya, who spoke about playing abroad next season. She admitted receiving offers from several clubs, including her former team who wanted her to stay, but she chose a new challenge to further develop herself, though she did not disclose the team's name yet.
Beam said playing in Europe taught her about ball speed, aggressiveness, and a strong blocking system, especially facing top Italian teams in the CEV and Champions League tournaments, an important experience she hopes to build upon for the Thai national team.
She also shared that she had talked with “Chompoo” Pornpun Kerdprasert, who has prior experience in the American league, and aims to "make history" as a Thai volleyball player on the U.S. stage as well.
Meanwhile, Beam just returned to report to the Thai national team camp and admitted feeling excited because several new players joined this year, and she is beginning to feel like a senior member of the team now.
