Thailand will host round 2 from 17 to 21 June, with Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand, coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai, and the national women's volleyball players attending the support ceremony on 15 June 2026 at the Sports Science Center, 3rd floor, Sports Authority of Thailand.

Mr. Pitch Potaramik, major shareholder of Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) and Mono Next Public Company Limited (MONO), announced a personal 1 million baht bonus per match if the Thai women's volleyball team wins during the 2026 VNL rounds 2 in Thailand (17-21 June 2026) and 3 in Japan (8-12 July 2026). This incentive aims to motivate the Thai players.

Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand, expressed gratitude to JAS and MONO for their ongoing support of Thai volleyball, including efforts to rehabilitate and develop athletes’ physical condition. He added that the 1 million baht victory bonus per match for the remaining eight matches across both rounds will greatly boost the morale of the Thai women's volleyball team.
The Thai women's national volleyball team has been training continuously after the first VNL round, where they lost all four matches, earning 2 points and ranking 17th. They are preparing for the second week's matches at Indoor Stadium Huamark, facing Ukraine on 17 June, Bulgaria on 18 June, Canada on 20 June, and the Netherlands on 21 June, with all matches starting at 8:30 p.m.
On 16 June at 1:00 p.m., a press conference will be held to announce Thailand’s readiness to host the tournament and update on the preparation status of all six teams competing in round 2 at Indoor Stadium Huamark.
