"Beam" Pimpichaya Kokram, a star player of the Thai women's national volleyball team, made an appeal after the team lost five consecutive matches in the VNL 2026.

After the Thai women's volleyball team narrowly lost to Ukraine 2-3 sets (23-25, 25-19, 26-28, 25-22, 10-15) in the VNL 2026 (FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League 2026) second venue, first match at Indoor Stadium Huamark, Bangkok, the team suffered their fifth straight defeat.

After the game, "Beam" Pimpichaya Kokram, a star player of the Thai women's team, spoke openly, telling fans not to lose hope in Thai women's volleyball.

"There were moments in this game when we couldn't score points, which is our shortcoming. But I don't want everyone to be discouraged. We will go back to review and encourage each other a lot."

"I also want to tell all Thai fans not to lose hope in us yet. We will keep fighting, even though it's a bit tough, we really want to win."

Next, the Thai women's volleyball team will play their second match at the VNL 2026 second venue against Bulgaria, ranked 20th in the world, on Thursday, 18 June at 20:30.
