Following the Thai women's national volleyball team’s 3-1 victory over Canada—25-21, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20—in the third match of Week 2 of the 2026 Nations League at Indoor Stadium Huamark,
after the match, Soraya Promla, former setter of the Thai women's national volleyball team, stated, "In the second venue, Thailand played much better than in the first. It must be because the social media coach helped fix the game."
Previously, the Thai team faced heavy criticism from some volleyball fans after failing to win any matches in Venue 1 and losing their first match in Venue 2 against Ukraine, before finally unlocking victories against Bulgaria and Canada.
