The Thailand men's national volleyball team, ranked 56th in the world, played their fourth preliminary round match in Group B against Indonesia, ranked 51st. In the first three matches, Thailand narrowly defeated South Korea 3-2, lost to Qatar 0-3, and beat Oman 3-1.
The match saw Thailand compete strongly against Indonesia, but Indonesia ultimately played more consistently and edged out a close 3-2 victory with set scores of 19-25, 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, and 15-12.
