Coach Ya has made his decision after leading the Thailand U18 women's volleyball team to 3rd place in Asia.
"Coach Ya" announced his resignation from coaching all Thailand women's national volleyball teams after leading the U18 team to 3rd place at the 2026 Asian Championship.
Coach Ya Natthaphon Srisamutnak announced he will cease coaching all Thailand women's national volleyball teams from now on after leading the Thailand U18 team to a 3-2 win over Japan, securing 3rd place at the 2026 Asian Championship and qualifying for the 2027 U19 World Championship.
Coach Ya said, "We succeeded by qualifying for the U19 World Championship and reaching the podium as we aimed. But now I officially announce that I will stop coaching all national teams from this point forward. I need to reconsider myself and will no longer coach the national teams. However, I might still coach occasionally if offered roles in the Thailand League, which I would welcome."
"I want to tell Coach Keyboard that you will no longer see me in any national team. Don't worry. I hope the players in this squad will grow to replace the seniors in the future. I think it's time for the new generation, the 'Seven Sages,' to take over. We've passed on many things, and they should be ready now."
