On 11 July 2026, Coach Oat Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai and star player Ajcharaporn Kongyot expressed their feelings after the Thai women's volleyball team defeated the Brazilian women's national team 3-0 with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-17 in the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League 2026, Week 3, Match 3.
Coach Oat Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai said, "Thanks to all Thai fans who came to support us here and those cheering from home. We achieved the goals we set. The matches against Brazil are always tough, but every Thai player gave their all in every play and every point. Brazil also played hard, even though some key players were rested."
Meanwhile, Ajcharaporn Kongyot stated, "We had come close to beating Brazil several times before, and this time we succeeded. This lets them know that in the future, they can’t just send any lineup against us. They seemed to offer us an opportunity, and we were able to seize it."
The Thai women's volleyball team will next compete in the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League 2026, Week 3, Match 4, facing the Turkish women's national team on 12 July at 13:30 Thai time.
