On 19 July 2026, live volleyball results from the SEA V Cup 2026 Stage 1, held from 15-19 July 2026 in the Philippines, featured the third-place match between the Thai and Vietnamese men's national volleyball teams.
The Thai men's volleyball team sought redemption after their 1-3 loss to Cambodia in the semifinals with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 23-25, 17-25, while Vietnam had lost to Indonesia in straight sets, 22-25, 20-25, 22-25.
The Thai men's volleyball team overcame losing the first set to come back and win against Vietnam in an exciting 3-1 victory with set scores of 23–25, 30–28, 25–20, 28–26, securing third place at the SEA V Cup 2026 Stage 1.
For SEA V Cup 2026 Stage 2, the Thai men's volleyball team will continue competing in Indonesia from 22 to 26 July 2026.
