On 25 July 2026, the men's volleyball competition of the 6th SEA V Cup 2026 Round 2 took place in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Thai men's volleyball team had won their first group match against Myanmar 3-0 sets and defeated Vietnam 3-2 sets, earning 5 points to top the group. They advanced to the semifinals to face Cambodia, the winner of the first round, to whom Thailand had lost 1-3 sets in the initial round.
In this match, Thailand fielded their main players led by Thupdith Phrabuddha, Naphadet Pinijdee, Boonyarit Wongthorn, Thanat Bamrungphakdee, Chaiwat Thungkham, Thanatat Tawirat, and libero Phakpong Kwangnok. Cambodia was led by their stars Kuan Mom and Jannaro.
