Following the Thai women's national volleyball team's 3-2 victory over the Philippines, with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-15, 18-25, and 15-10, in the second match of the first leg of the SEA V Cup 2026 held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
After the game, Coach Ott Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai, head coach of the Thai women's volleyball team, stated, "First, I want to congratulate the Philippines team. It's clear they have improved; scoring points against them each set was not easy. Meanwhile, our side made many mistakes, such as in blocking and receiving spikes, which we did not perform well."
"In the sets we won, our serving, blocking, and receiving were good. But in the sets where we missed opportunities, those areas were weak. What was clear today was in the rallies of the sets we lost; we failed to finish points. The Philippines played well, using their key players to attack, and we couldn't block them."
"Over the past two games, we've seen many of our weaknesses. The players have now experienced more real-game situations than yesterday. Yesterday we played four sets; today we played five. Across these five sets, we saw the fighting spirit and team spirit remain, especially in the fifth set, with the seniors supporting the juniors well."
"The younger players surely learned a lot this time, as they did not meet targets in many positions. This is something that needs improvement. I also want to thank all the players for their dedication."
