Coach Ot responds after the Thai women's volleyball team won the first SEA V CUP 2026 tournament.
Thumbs up! Coach Ot praised the Thai women's volleyball team for their excellent performance after defeating Vietnam to claim the first SEA V CUP 2026 title.
Following the Thai women's national volleyball team’s 3-0 victory over Vietnam with scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-14, they secured the championship of the first week of the SEA V CUP 2026.
After the match, Coach Ot, Kiattipong Ratchakriangkrai, head coach of the Thai women's national volleyball team, said, “I’m happy and proud of every player. Everyone gave their best and were very dedicated, training hard. Today, all performed very well.”
“Today clearly showed our perseverance. After previous unsuccessful attempts, we achieved success in many areas such as serving, blocking, and receiving attacks to counterattack. We played well according to plan. Our setter also performed excellently, and everyone worked together as a team just as we have practiced.”
“Credit goes to both senior and junior players. The seniors supported the juniors, and the juniors energized the seniors. This spirit is good and must be maintained. I want to praise and congratulate everyone.”
“Even though we have won, it doesn’t mean we will stop here. We need to pass on confidence to the younger players so they can learn each position and continue to grow. We still have many errors from the first two games to correct, so we must persist and keep improving.”
“We know this event has many new players and fewer seniors, so chances of not succeeding are high. But everyone has done their best. I thank the association and management committee, and importantly, thank all the fans for their support at the venue and from home. We will keep this confidence and determination to keep progressing.”
The Thai women's national volleyball team will compete in the second week of the SEA V CUP 2026 from 7–9 August 2026 at the 700th Anniversary Sports Complex in Chiang Mai.
