"Bow Kanyarat" revealed that the match winning against Vietnam unlocked herself after nearly one year of effort.
On 3 August 2026 GMT+7, following the Thailand women's national volleyball team’s 3-0 victory over Vietnam to win the SEA V Cup 2026 first leg in Vietnam, the Thai women's volleyball team has returned to Thailand.
Bow Kanyarat Khunmuang expressed that the win over Vietnam greatly boosted her confidence after nearly a year of dedicated skill development.
"The match where we beat Vietnam gave me much more confidence, like unlocking myself after almost a year of hard training, always trying to achieve this. Yesterday, I performed well and felt very happy with myself."
She also commented on the overall first leg competition, saying everyone was given ample playing time, which was an important experience. Although individual performances had ups and downs and areas for improvement, everyone tried their best to bring out their full potential, eager to prove themselves. She asked Thai volleyball fans to support and cheer for the national team at the second leg in Chiang Mai with a full stadium.
The Thailand women's national volleyball team will travel to Chiang Mai on 4 August to prepare for the SEA V Cup 2026 second leg, scheduled from 7-9 August.
