Chiang Mai Province is ready to host the women's BYD DMI 6th SEA V CUP 2026 volleyball tournament's second leg, featuring four ASEAN countries competing from 7 to 9 August. Tickets are now available for purchase.
On 3 August, at the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization Council meeting room, Mr. Ratthaphon Naradisorn, Governor of Chiang Mai Province, together with Mr. Pichai Lertpongadisorn, President of the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization, and Mr. Somporn Saibanyang, President of the Volleyball Association of Thailand, jointly held a press conference for the BYD DMI 6th SEA V CUP 2026 women's volleyball tournament, second leg, scheduled from 7 to 9 August 2026 at the 700th Anniversary Sports Complex in Chiang Mai.
The BYD DMI 6th SEA V CUP women's volleyball tournament aims to develop women's volleyball in ASEAN. The first leg was held in Vietnam, where the Thailand women's national volleyball team won the championship. The second leg is set for 7-9 August 2026 at the 700th Anniversary Sports Complex in Chiang Mai, featuring four participating countries: Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand.
The match schedule is as follows: On 7 August at 1:00 p.m., Indonesia faces Vietnam, followed by the Philippines versus Thailand at 4:30 p.m.; on 8 August at 1:00 p.m., Vietnam plays the Philippines, then Thailand meets Indonesia at 4:30 p.m.; on 9 August at 1:00 p.m., the Philippines play Indonesia, and at 4:30 p.m., Vietnam faces Thailand.
Tickets for the event went on sale starting Monday, 3 August 2026, at 10:00 a.m. via The Concert application or the theconcert website. Each person may purchase up to two tickets, one per day.
Offline ticket sales will be available for one day only on Thursday, 6 August 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the 80th Anniversary Hall of the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organization. All matches will also be broadcast live on ONE31 channel and the oneD application.
