Updates on the Thai women's national volleyball team ahead of their match in the 2026 SEA V Cup (BYD DMI 6th SEA V Cup 2026), second leg, first match in Chiang Mai Province against the Philippines today (7 Aug 2026) at 16:30 GMT+7.
This leg features “Boom Boom” Chatchu-on Moksri, Thailand’s national team outside hitter, who has recovered from injury and returned to help the team after nearly six months away due to injury.
Recently, “Omsin” Sasipaporn Janthawisut, Thailand’s national team attacker, welcomed Chatchu-on back and asked fans to send encouragement to Boom Boom and all Thai female volleyball players.
“First, welcome Boom Boom. Our readiness is good. We have practiced on the actual court for two days. I feel the team is quite good. Everyone has adapted quickly because I was already at the first leg and joined the players who were resting. So, right now, things are okay.”
“Boom Boom is back now. I want everyone to support her because she has just recovered. There may be some minor issues. I want everyone to encourage her and all of us a lot, as this will be our first match. Please come and cheer for us.”
