Thailand leads the way, revealing Asia's top 10 rankings ahead of the 2026 Women's Asian Volleyball Championship.
On 17 August 2026, the latest women's volleyball world rankings for Asia's top 10 teams were released ahead of the 2026 Women's Asian Volleyball Championship, scheduled from 21-30 August 2026 in Tianjin, People's Republic of China.
This event is highly significant because the champion team will receive an automatic berth to the 2028 Olympics. Thailand's women's volleyball team has a clear goal for the 2026 Asian Championship: to win the title and secure their first-ever Olympic ticket.
Thailand's women's volleyball team, the 2023 defending champion and three-time Asian champion, currently ranks 17th in the world and 3rd in Asia, behind Japan and China.
Among Asia's top 10 teams, only the Philippines will not participate in the 2026 Women's Asian Volleyball Championship.
