Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai and Chatchu-on Moksri shared their thoughts after the Thailand women's national volleyball team decisively defeated South Korea to reach the semifinals of the 2026 Asian Volleyball Championship.
On 27 Aug 2026, Coach Ott Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai and Boom-Bim Chatchu-on Moksri spoke after the Thailand women's volleyball team crushed the South Korean women's team 3-0 sets with scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-2 to advance to the semifinals of the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship.
Coach Ott Kiattipong Ratchatkriangkrai said, "I must commend all the athletes who worked together to reach the semifinals, which was our initial goal. We aim to progress step by step. I also want to praise South Korea because they are a good team. Regarding Thaddao Nukjaeng, she is currently trying to maintain her physical condition, especially over the past two to three days after her injury. We've been working on her recovery. Although she is not yet at 100%, her presence boosts the team's confidence. The substitute players who came on also contributed significantly to the team."
Meanwhile, Boom-Bim Chatchu-on Moksri said, "Today, our team played well together. We played without any pressure, following the rhythm of the game and the coach's strategy. We played more freely and with confidence. The result is another matter, but as I said, we focused on playing confidently first."
The Thailand women's volleyball team will next compete in the semifinals of the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship, awaiting the winner between the Japan women's national team and the Chinese Taipei women's national team.
