The latest world ranking of the Thai women's national volleyball team is revealed after their 3-2 win over China to claim the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship title and secure their first-ever ticket to the 2028 Olympics.
On 30 Aug 2026 GMT+7, the latest world ranking of the Thai women's national volleyball team under coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai was announced following their 3-2 victory over China’s women's volleyball team with set scores of 25-20, 11-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-10 in the final of the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship.
Before the match, the Thai women's national volleyball team ranked 17th in the world with 220.34 points. After defeating China, coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai's team rose to 14th in the world, gaining 10.34 points to reach a total of 230.67 points.
Meanwhile, China's women's volleyball team was ranked 7th globally with 322.16 points before the match. After the game, they remained 7th but their points dropped by 10.34 to 311.83.
