
Tickets for the women's volleyball first round at the 2028 Olympics have surged to nearly 16,000 baht.
On 31 August 2026, ticket sales for indoor volleyball at the 2028 Olympic Games have already opened for fans in two rounds.
The first round was available from 9 to 19 April 2026, selling over 4 million tickets. The second round opened for pre-registration and sales from 10 to 20 August 2026. The third round will begin sales in 2027.
Initial ticket prices for the first round ranged from $28 to $210, approximately 900 to 6,800 baht. However, recent checks show prices have increased to between $205 and $490, or about 6,700 to 16,240 baht.
Quarterfinals and semifinals tickets are priced from $68 to $260, roughly 2,200 to 8,600 baht.
For the bronze medal match, women's tickets cost around $291, about 9,600 baht, while men's tickets start at about $104, or 3,400 baht.
Finals are expected to see very high demand, with prices from $960 upwards, approximately 31,000 baht. Resale or secondary market prices could reach several thousand dollars.
Women's volleyball at the 2028 Olympics will take place at the Honda Center in Los Angeles, USA, from 15 to 30 July 2028.
