On 3 Sep 2026 GMT+7, after Rasamee Kae Fa Kuea Lon responded to keyboard trolls who had harshly and crudely criticized the Thai women's national volleyball team, she said, "Those who harshly criticized the girls, your opinions had no part in their journey to the Olympics. You were not there, nor were you even a fraction of the girls' thoughts. The victory and Olympic ticket are gifts from the athletes' efforts, staff, coaches, families, the association, former national players, and true fans who supported them sincerely."
Recently, 'Boom Bim' Chatchaworn Moksri, captain of the Thai national team, defended Rasamee Kae regarding this issue, saying, "I have to say that P'Kae is very kind. She truly supports us but never comes with any expectation of benefit from us. Sometimes she just comes by, meets the girls, watches from afar, or gives a hug. She doesn't carry her phone constantly to show 'I'm with the athletes' or anything like that. P'Kae loves us sincerely from her heart."
"Currently, there has been backlash against P'Kae for defending the athletes about social media harassment. Despite her defending us, the backlash targeted her instead. I am concerned, but P'Kae is a strong person. She told me not to worry."
