Omsin Sasipaporn has made her decision following the conclusion of the Thai women's volleyball team’s campaign at the 2026 Asian Games.
"Sasipaporn" confirms she is preparing to play in the Vietnamese league after helping the Thai women's volleyball team qualify for the Olympics and secure the bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Games.
Following the Thai women's volleyball team’s 3-0 victory over South Korea with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-23 to win the bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Games, the team has now returned to Thailand.
Recently, "Omsin" Sasipaporn Chantawisut, a star player for the Thai national team, personally confirmed she is preparing to play in the Vietnamese volleyball league during the second leg.
Sasipaporn said, "I am indeed preparing to play in Vietnam. I will be there to earn a substantial amount of money for about 10 days. I’m not yet sure how many matches I will play."
Earlier reports from Vietnamese media indicated that Sasipaporn has signed with a club in the Vietnamese league to play in October. The club reportedly offered a large sum to secure Omsin’s services, though the club’s name has not been disclosed.
It is believed that this stint in the Vietnamese league is a further preparation step before she travels to play in the U.S. league with LOVB Salt Lake for the 2026/27 season, where Sasipaporn is officially listed on the team roster.
Previously, Sasipaporn has played in the Vietnamese league for clubs Geleximco Thái Bình and HCĐG Lào Cai.
