On 29 Mar 2026 at 13:30, Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, visited the "First Nakhon Phanom City Identity Exhibition" or "DNA Nakhon Phanom" at Phaya Si Sattanakharat Square, Mueang Nakhon Phanom District, Nakhon Phanom Province.

The Deputy Prime Minister showed interest in OTOP products such as jewelry from Color Gems in Chanthaburi, silverware from Sukhothai, and tailoring from Ban Phiman in Nakhon Phanom. He purchased green woven sedge handbags from the Laeo Phatthana Cooperative Community Enterprise in Nakhon Phanom, which incorporates the royal initiative concepts "Enjoy Wearing Thai Fabrics" and "Sustainable Fashion" to perfectly advance handicrafts. After touring the event, the Deputy Prime Minister and his group rode a motorized tricycle carpool around Nakhon Phanom municipality as an example of shared transport to reduce energy consumption.

The "First Nakhon Phanom City Identity Exhibition" or "DNA Nakhon Phanom" marks a vital step in driving Nakhon Phanom's creative grassroots economy, aligning with government and Ministry of Interior policies.
