Economic Crime Suppression Division to Clarify Ways Involvement After December 8 Meeting on Nana Case

The Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECSD) plans to convene the investigation team for the "Nana Ribena" case on Monday, 8 Dec. It is expected that doubts about whether "Way Titanium" is involved in wrongdoing will become clearer. Recently, he contacted authorities through his lawyer and has not shown any evasive behavior.

The case involves the ECSD's Unit 4 arresting Mrs. Ribena Inthachai, also known as "Nana Ribena," 44, a famous artist and actress. She is accused of fraudulently enticing close friends and entertainment figures to invest in various fictitious businesses, resulting in combined losses exceeding 195 million baht. Subsequently, new victims came forward alleging that Mr. Prinya Inthachai, or Way Titanium, Nana's husband, also tricked them into stock trading investments, causing losses of more than 50 million baht, as previously reported.

On 6 Dec, Pol. Col. Nittichote Penjamras, Deputy Commander of the ECSD, provided an update on the case. He said the investigation team is currently expediting the review of financial trails and transaction data to analyze and support the case evidence. A full meeting of the investigation team will be held on Monday, 8 Dec, to discuss progress on various aspects of the case.

"It is expected that after the upcoming meeting, the investigation will provide clearer insight into doubts—particularly regarding Mr. Prinya, or Way Titanium—about the extent of his involvement with Mrs. Ribena's alleged wrongdoing or if he is entirely uninvolved. We emphasize that the authorities base their actions strictly on evidence and facts, and are committed to fairness for all parties," Pol. Col. Nittichote said.

When asked whether Mr. Prinya, or Way Titanium, has contacted authorities, Pol. Col. Nittichote replied that he has made contact through his lawyer and has been very cooperative with the officials, showing no evasive behavior whatsoever.
