Photos of Former Nakhon Si Thammarat Police Commander Pol. Maj. Gen. Kriengsak Waiting to Fly to Bangkok Show Tense Expression, Red Eyes

Photos show Pol. Maj. Gen. Kriengsak Nunkliang, former Commander of Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Police, waiting to board a flight to report to the Royal Thai Police Operations Center as ordered by "Big Tai." He appears tense with reddened eyes. Revealing deeper information about "Cadet Class 53," he vowed to fight back despite heavy pressure, saying, “I am just Cadet 53, powerless, but this case is unlikely to end here.”

This follows the case in which Pol. Gen. Kittirat Phanphet, Royal Thai Police Commissioner, signed an order assigning Pol. Maj. Gen. Kriengsak Nunkliang, Commander of Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Police, to assist at the Royal Thai Police Operations Center (ROP), suspending him from his original post until further notice. This arose after social media reported allegations that police officers were soliciting benefits in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, as previously reported.

This morning at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Police Headquarters, the atmosphere was rather quiet. Police officers were continuously discussing the scandalous audio clip.

Later, at about 07:30, the news team spotted Pol. Maj. Gen. Kriengsak Nunkliang at Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport, wearing his uniform with a jacket over it. He was traveling alone to Bangkok without the usual police escort. His expression was tense, eyes reddened, and he was frequently on the phone while waiting to board. Reports indicate he was en route to report as ordered by the Royal Thai Police Commissioner.

However, on the previous Saturday evening, there were attempts to negotiate and resolve the issue, but no agreement was reached. Subsequently, an audio clip circulated widely, along with screenshots of Line chat messages. The messages included the original audio clip source, from a person identified as “Udomsak,” expressing stress over the situation: “I’m personally involved, still have two years until retirement,” “I’m not rebelling against anyone but have never met,” “I’m just Cadet 53, powerless, but this case is unlikely to end.” The release of these messages further intensified the situation.

Meanwhile, Pol. Maj. Gen. Pornchai Khajornklin, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Police Region 8 and acting Commander of Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Police, has been on duty since early this morning. He has been overseeing Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Pipat Ratchakitprakarn’s official visit in the districts of Nabo and Thasala.

Additionally, attention has focused on the aftermath of the transfer of the Nakhon Si Thammarat police commander. The police chief of Chawang Police Station, identified as “Udomsak,” and a figure named “Joe” from the audio clip, were preliminarily found to be investigating officers with the rank of Police Sub-Lieutenant at an unspecified police station. They have been summoned to a special task force. It remains to be seen if the Royal Thai Police will take further action regarding those involved.
