Forensic officers inspected the vehicle used by the suspect in the expressway shooting and found it had fake license plates. Inside the vehicle, they also discovered one replica gun along with numerous documents.
Regarding the fatal shooting on the Si Rat Expressway near the Prachachuen tollgate, police have been gathering evidence and preparing to request an arrest warrant for the suspect on charges of intentional homicide. The Toyota Vellfire used in the incident was later found abandoned at a hotel in Nakhon Pathom province. Authorities have not ruled out any possibilities, although witnesses indicate the motive stemmed from road rage. It was also found that the suspect had a prior arrest warrant for attempted murder in 2024, as previously reported.
Most recently, on the evening of 23 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reports indicate the suspect’s car arrived at Prachachuen Police Station, brought from a hotel in Nakhon Pathom province. Forensic officers, together with Prachachuen police, inspected the white vehicle bearing license plate 5 กพ 3345 Bangkok. Preliminary checks revealed the plate was fake, with the original plate behind it showing 2 กผ 7778 Bangkok.
Initial inspection of the vehicle uncovered one replica gun and numerous documents. Police sources said the suspect might not have fled to a neighboring country yet. Currently, the Metropolitan Police Division 2, together with other units, are actively pursuing the suspect to bring them to justice.
