A police officer from Tha Ruea Police Station was shot in the hand during a warrant-based arrest in Khlong Toei, Bangkok. Two girls aged 13 and 15 were hit by stray bullets.
At approximately 19:50 on 24 December 2025, a shooting incident causing injuries was reported near a walkway in front of a house around locks 4-5-6 in Khlong Toei, Khlong Toei Subdistrict, Bangkok.
The injured include Police Sub-Lieutenant Paiboon Chanunan, Deputy Inspector of Tha Ruea Police Station, who was shot in the hand while apprehending a suspect under a drug-related warrant. He was taken to Police General Hospital. Additionally, two girls aged about 13 and 15 were wounded by stray bullets.
Currently, police are tracking down the suspect to bring them to justice. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
