
"Big Turtle" revealed that on 5 January, investigators from the Police Anti-Corruption Division are preparing to submit the case file regarding "Big Joke"'s bribery to the National Anti-Corruption Commission for a decision within 30 days in accordance with legal procedures.
Regarding the case where the Royal Thai Police investigation team conducted raids at 11 locations to find evidence of a bribery network involving the National Anti-Corruption Commission officials, who were bribed with 246 baht of gold bars to influence a case in 2024, leading to Pol. Gen. Surachate Hakparn, former Deputy National Police Chief, being summoned to meet investigators from the Police Anti-Corruption Division to hear the charges, as previously reported.
On 4 January 2026, Pol. Maj. Gen. Jaroonkiat Pankaew, Deputy Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, commented on the progress of the case involving Pol. Gen. Surachate Hakparn, former Deputy National Police Chief, bribing NACC officials with 246 baht of gold bars to influence a case related to online gambling. He said that tomorrow, investigators from the Police Anti-Corruption Division will go to the NACC office to submit the case file to the NACC committee for consideration within 30 days according to legal procedures. Afterwards, the NACC will decide whether to take over the case or return it to the Police Anti-Corruption Division for further investigation.
