Prosecutors detained three defendants from the Pornprapa family and submitted them to the Criminal Court. After the court accepted the case, each defendant posted 5 million baht bail, which is currently under review.
On 13 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported on the progress of the MORE stock case. Around noon, Mr. Ekphat Pornprapa, Mr. Athipat Pornprapa, and Mrs. Oraphin Pornprapa met with special case prosecutors after coordinating with the special case investigators that they would appear in person today.
The prosecutors then detained all three and submitted them to the Criminal Court. The court reviewed the petition and accepted the case under docket number Khor.67/2569 for consideration. The court also read and explained the charges to the three defendants until they understood, then questioned them. All three defendants pleaded not guilty and decided to contest the case. The court scheduled a joint hearing for both parties to examine evidence on 16 March at 09:00 GMT+7.
Subsequently, the defendants’ lawyers filed a petition along with bail bonds of 5 million baht each, requesting temporary release of all three defendants during the trial. This request is currently under judicial consideration.
