led a raid with a Phetchaburi Provincial Court warrant No. K 40/2569 dated 14 Jan 2026 GMT+7 at a house in Village 10, Khao Yai Subdistrict, Cha-Am District, Phetchaburi Province. They arrested Ms. Suwimon Sukkasem, 27, the homeowner, and seized one Next Level brand rifle chambered in 5.56 mm with two magazines, two Colt .45 pistols with nine magazines, one Typhoon shotgun, 135 rounds of .45 caliber ammunition, 450 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition, and 61 shotgun shells No. 12. No ownership documents for the firearms were found.
The investigation began when detectives from Unit 4, Cyber Crime Division 2, discovered a Facebook account named “Bang Night Agent Wokhun Phetchaburi” with over 2,400 followers posting numerous images of various firearms being held and displayed. This activity was illegal, and authorities suspected the presence of illegal weapons hidden in the residence.
Further investigation identified Mr. Arun Panthong, 31, as the Facebook account owner who posted the firearm photos. Authorities collected evidence and obtained a court search warrant targeting the residence in Phetchaburi Province, leading to the arrest of Ms. Suwimon and seizure of the firearms. No documents proving legal ownership were found.
Initial questioning revealed Ms. Suwimon claimed all weapons belonged to her husband, Mr. Arun, who collected them but did not disclose their source. Mr. Arun was not home during the raid, having left for errands. Police charged her with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition without permission, and she was detained and transferred to Cha-Am Police Station for further legal proceedings.
