Justice Court Spokesperson Addresses Allegations of Bail Interference in Chinese Gang Case

The Justice Court spokesperson stated readiness to investigate allegations of bail interference involving a group of Chinese nationals. They emphasized that the Justice Court has a strict bail ordering and discretion oversight system, and no one is above the institution or the law.

As reported in various media outlets including television, online, and social media, interviews have discussed a network and individuals potentially involved in assisting Chinese nationals—suspects in a call center gang—to leave the country. One claim suggested that a criminal court judge was involved in this network and that the court's 11th floor was used as a venue for negotiating money related to bail interference.

Regarding this matter, on 19 Jan 2026, Mr. Suriyan Hongwilai, spokesperson for the Justice Court, clarified that the criminal court has a strict system for ordering bail and monitoring judicial discretion. Although such claims currently lack clear evidence, the Justice Court is ready to investigate the facts and clarify the situation.

In the past, the Judicial Commission of the Justice Court has conducted transparent, clear, and decisive fact-finding and disciplinary inquiries. If personnel are found guilty of misconduct, the commission has never hesitated to impose penalties because no one is above the institution or justice. Individuals come and go, but the institution and public trust must remain to ensure an effective justice system. However, if no wrongdoing is found, full fairness will be granted to the accused, who also have the legal right to defend themselves.
