On 20 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Police Lieutenant Manit Nakpaiboon, Deputy Inspector of the Investigation Division at Mueang Ang Thong Police Station, received a report from a 14-year-old girl, referred to as A, alleging she was raped by her biological father inside their home in Mueang district, Ang Thong province. After the assault, she fled the house and called the Public Safety Acceleration Center's hotline 1300 for help. The center promptly sent officials to pick her up and took her to Ang Thong Hospital for a medical examination to preserve evidence, arranging for a multidisciplinary team to conduct interviews.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that Mr. Boy (pseudonym), aged 41, the father of girl A, arrived at Mueang Ang Thong Police Station in the early morning to file a missing person report regarding his 14-year-old daughter.
Later, at 11:30 a.m., Police Colonel Thotsaphon Thongbai, Chief of Mueang Ang Thong Police Station, along with detectives from the station, went to the rental house where the incident occurred. They found Mr. Boy there and brought him in for further interrogation at the station. Mr. Boy confessed to having raped his 14-year-old daughter. He stated he was a single father of three children: two girls, aged 14 and 7, and a 5-year-old boy.
He claimed that at around 4:00 a.m., he saw his daughter naked while she was video calling her boyfriend. This led him to confront and argue with her before he assaulted her. Afterward, the daughter fled the house, and he then filed the missing person report.
Police will continue to collect evidence and interview the girl alongside multidisciplinary experts before proceeding with legal action against Mr. Boy.
