Chaiyachana Deddejcho Files Complaint Against Popular Page for Damaging Post

Chaiyachana Deddejcho filed a complaint against a popular page that posted a message claiming police were preparing to search his home due to alleged involvement in a drug trafficking network, causing damage to both himself and the Democrat Party.

On 21 Jan 2026 GMT+7, the narcotics suppression unit of Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat Police Station arrested Mr. Jakkrit Deddejcho, 30, also known as “Sun Thungjeen,” with 2 kilograms of crystal meth worth 2 million baht, a 9 mm pistol, and eight bullets. The arrest took place on the evening of 19 Jan 2026 GMT+7 along a road in Thungjeen Village, Na Khian Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Si Thammarat District. Mr. Jakkrit shares the same surname as Mr. Chaiyachana Deddejcho, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party and a well-known southern politician.

Recently, a popular page posted: “Urgent: Police preparing to search the home of the Deputy Leader of the 'Blue Party,' a famous southern figure with the initials ‘T.,’ involved in a drug trafficking network,” which sparked widespread discussion and criticism on social media.

At 2:00 p.m., Mr. Chaiyachana Deddejcho, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party for the South, accompanied by his personal lawyer, went to Ron Phibun Police Station in Nakhon Si Thammarat to file a complaint against the popular page named CSI LA for posting the message about the police preparing to search the home of the 'Deputy Leader of the Blue Party,' a well-known southern figure with the initials 'T.,' alleged to be involved in drug trafficking.

Mr. Chaiyachana filed the complaint after publicly denying the page’s claims as untrue, seeking full legal action against the page because the post damaged his reputation and that of the Democrat Party.
