The Hua Hin Provincial Court denied bail for "Ai Sam," who killed and struck a female hotel employee on the head during a robbery, fearing he would flee or endanger others. He was sent to prison.

At Hua Hin Provincial Court at 08:30 on 22 Jan 2026, investigators from Hua Hin Police Station brought Mr. Rattikorn Yingyod, the suspect in the murder and robbery case of Ms. Wirin Thailipo, a hotel employee in Hua Hin district, under arrest warrant No. 19/2569 dated 19 Jan 2026 from Hua Hin Provincial Court. He was charged with premeditated murder, murder by torture or cruelty, murder to facilitate another crime, and robbery causing death. This was his first custody hearing at Hua Hin Provincial Court.

The Hua Hin Provincial Court accepted the petition, held a hearing, and ordered the suspect's detention for 12 days during the investigation. No relatives filed a bail request. The court noted the serious penalties involved, the suspect’s violent behavior as stated in the petition, and the police’s objection. The court believed that if released, the suspect might flee or commit further harm. Therefore, bail was denied, the detention warrant was issued, and the suspect was sent to Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Prison for continued custody during the investigation.
