In the case of Ms. Bua Sihawong, also known as June, a 25-year-old Lao woman accused of brutally murdering her employer, a retired teacher, and hiding the body at a house, the incident occurred in the Bueng Kum police district, Bangkok. The suspect fled back to Laos by bus during the early hours of last night. The bus departed Bangkok at 8:30 p.m., heading to Ubon Ratchathani, with a stopover in Nakhon Ratchasima.
On 22 Jan 2026 GMT+7, reporters reviewed CCTV footage from the second Nakhon Ratchasima bus terminal where the bus stopped. Interviewing Mr. Apisit Boonchanthuek, the terminal manager, revealed that the bus arrived at platform 17 at 1:32 a.m. when many vehicles were entering and leaving the station. CCTV inspection showed no sign of the Lao woman suspect getting off the bus. Normally, the bus stops in Nakhon Ratchasima for about 20 minutes, during which staff instruct passengers to disembark for meals and restroom breaks before continuing the journey.
Meanwhile, the manager of the bus company’s Nakhon Ratchasima branch said that after learning a suspect had traveled on their bus, they spoke with the bus staff, who confirmed the suspect did not get off during the Nakhon Ratchasima stop. The bus staff observed no suspicious behavior or abnormalities from the Lao woman suspect. Upon reaching the final destination, the suspect was the first to disembark.
