Officials escorted DJ Paul, nicknamed “Octopus Hands,” to the Minburi Criminal Court on charges of indecent acts against a woman. He did not seek bail and was immediately taken to Minburi Central Prison.
On 22 January, reporters learned that Ms. Alich (a pseudonym), a female DJ, posted a warning on Facebook recounting how a DJ photographer who runs a teaching school abused the trust she placed in him as a respected senior and former collaborator. He made indecent advances by coercing her with suggestive talk during a photo shoot, groped her body, and at the worst, removed his pants and forced her to touch his genitals, effectively pressuring her into non-consensual sex.
Subsequently, police raided and arrested a male DJ at a brothel hotel in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. He was identified as Mr. Kritiwut, 44, known as “DJ Paul,” the suspect wanted under two warrants issued by the Minburi Criminal Court on charges of attempted rape and indecent acts, as well as rape.
Today, investigators from Nimit Mai Police Station brought him to court to be detained on three sexual offense cases: cases numbered F.64/2569, F.65/2569, and F.66/2569.
Mr. Kritiwut did not file any bail request, resulting in prison officials immediately transferring him to Minburi Central Prison for detention.
