Most recently, at 12:30 PM on 27 Jan 2026, Pol. Col. Pradit Tibma, Superintendent of Fang Police Station, ordered investigative and patrol units along with checkpoints to tighten security in the area. Public announcements urge anyone with information to report. At Mae Ai Police Station, investigators, border patrol police unit 334, prison officials, and local administration have traced the fugitive’s home in Ban Huai Muang, Mae Nawang Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, which is the male prisoner's residence.
Danuphat Jaka, 37, of Lahu ethnicity, is approximately 150-160 cm tall, with dark skin, a sturdy build, and closely cropped hair. His hometown is in Village 5, Mae Nawang Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. He has a wife residing in Mae Nawang and numerous relatives in both Mae Ai and Fang districts of Chiang Mai.
