Palakorn Pimphanit, known as MP Ball and a Pheu Thai Party candidate for Kalasin Province’s 2nd electoral district, is actively seeking justice by filing a police report at Yang Talat Police Station. This follows allegations linking "S.J. Ney," a fellow political team member, to an online gambling website, which also implicated Palakorn and caused reputational damage. He stated that if he is involved, he is ready to undergo the justice process without fleeing. He lamented that this is a political game aimed at destroying reputations before the elections.
At 12:00 noon on 29 Jan 2026 GMT+7 at Yang Talat Police Station, Kalasin Province, Mr. Palakorn Pimphanit, or MP Ball, a Pheu Thai Party candidate for Kalasin Province’s 2nd electoral district, requested a meeting with Police Lieutenant Colonel Prasit Namwiset, an investigator at Yang Talat Police Station, to file a formal report as evidence. This concerns the allegations against Mr. Pathanun Chandorn, "S.J. Ney," a Kalasin Provincial Administrative Organization councilor for Khong Chai District, accused of involvement in an online gambling website. Media reports also referenced Palakorn, causing him distress and reputational harm. He believes these are political maneuvers since it is election season.
During this meeting, Palakorn spent about 30 minutes filing the report with Lieutenant Colonel Decha Kiewrat, deputy investigation chief, and Police Colonel Sairat Somrit, chief of Yang Talat Police Station, present. Afterward, Palakorn distributed pamphlets introducing himself with a cheerful demeanor.
Palakorn Pimphanit, or MP Ball, candidate for Kalasin’s 2nd electoral district for the Pheu Thai Party, said he filed the report to have an official record regarding the allegations against "S.J. Ney" involving online gambling. Media also mentioned that police had tried several times to obtain an arrest warrant for him, but it had not been approved by the court.
. . . Palakorn stated that if future developments connect him to the case, he is ready to clarify and comply with the legal justice process and will not flee. He pledged full cooperation with police in good faith. Regarding his relationship with "S.J. Ney", . . . Palakorn said, "S.J. Ney" is a younger political colleague. Personally, I see "S.J. Ney" as someone who enjoys helping society and is a young businessman, which is why I invited him into politics. But society has already judged "S.J. Ney." . . . Regarding "S.J. Ney’s" recent trip abroad, I believe he took leave to travel. If he is aware of the news, he will likely return to face the case. Therefore, I see this incident as a political game. Everyone now knows who controls state power. I question who the candidate for District 2 is and who is close to powerful government figures, and why this district is targeted. I believe Thailand's justice system still exists, but if it ever becomes corrupt, my constituents will show that harming innocent people is unacceptable, as reflected in the election results," Palakorn concluded. . . . . . .

Regarding the case of "S.J. Ney," Mr. Pathanun Chandorn, the provincial councilor for Khong Chai District, "S.J. Nu," Mr. Charoen Chandorn, provincial councilor for Mueang Kalasin District 2, and "S.J. Piao," Mr. Pathompong Phutao-ngern, provincial councilor for Yang Talat District 4, reportedly left the country without approval from the provincial governor. Reports state that the province is preparing to have the Kalasin Provincial Administrative Organization council conduct an investigation to determine whether their travel caused state damage or loss of benefit.
In cases where a provincial councilor is implicated in online gambling or money laundering, it is the responsibility of the Kalasin Provincial Administrative Organization council members to consider qualifications under the 1997 Provincial Administrative Act concerning disqualifications and removal from office. If misconduct or behavior causing unrest is found, the council members can propose removal to the assembly for further consideration.
