
Villagers in Chonburi assisted a 26-year-old woman who ran naked from a forest, shouting for help and saying, "I was raped." She recounted that a suspect on a motorcycle followed her, then dragged her away to assault her. She fought back, pushing him down, and then ran to seek help.
A Facebook user live-streamed the rescue of a 26-year-old woman who ran out of a forest beside a road naked, shouting for help after an attempted sexual assault. The incident occurred at about 8 p.m. on 1 Feb 2026 near the Huay Yai Road (Route 331 - Ban Huay Yai), close to the Saen Mae Sakorn Shrine, Village No. 6, Huay Yai Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi.
An investigation showed the incident site was a hillside road with little traffic. Villagers who found and helped the woman quickly gave her clothes. She was identified as a 26-year-old from Prachinburi Province, visibly terrified and shocked. Nearby, the victim’s black-and-red Honda Wave 125 motorcycle was parked by the roadside.
A good Samaritan who helped said they were driving home on Highway 33 when they saw a woman running out of the forest across a four-lane road completely naked. Initially hesitant to stop for safety concerns, they decided to stop after seeing her condition. They gave her a shirt, helped her into their pickup truck, live-streamed the incident to call for help and to intercept the suspect, and contacted police. The victim described the suspect as a middle-aged, bald man riding a blue Honda PCX motorcycle without a visible license plate, heading toward Ban Huay Yai community.
The victim told police she traveled from Prachinburi to find work near Jomtien, Pattaya, Chonburi. Using GPS navigation on her phone, at the incident site she was followed by the suspect on a motorcycle who reached to turn off her bike’s ignition, causing it to stall. He then dragged her into an abandoned house near the shrine, forcibly removed her clothes, and attempted to rape her. She managed to push him away and ran to seek help from passing villagers.
Police initially summoned the victim for questioning and a thorough medical examination. They planned to search the area for further clues, as there were no CCTV cameras at the scene.
At 12:00 p.m. on 3 Feb 2026, reporters were informed that police had brought the victim in for additional questioning and convened an investigative team to expedite solving the case and bring the suspect to justice.
