
The UAE SWAT CHALLENGE 2026, the premier global special operations competition, has concluded with the Thai Police Special Operations teams achieving outstanding results, placing in the Top 5 and Top 10 worldwide.
Today (12 February 2026), Pol. Lt. Gen. Udom Yomjaroen, Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, revealed that under the leadership of Police Commissioner-General Kittirat Phanphet and Deputy Commissioner for Security Samran Nualma, the Royal Thai Police sent three special operations teams to compete in the UAE SWAT CHALLENGE 2026 held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 7 to 11 February 2026. The competition has now concluded, with both male and female Thai police teams achieving excellent results, ranking within the Top 5 and Top 10 worldwide.
The UAE SWAT Challenge 2026 featured teams from 48 countries worldwide. The representatives from the Royal Thai Police (RTP) made a significant impact by demonstrating precise tactical skills, decisiveness, and physical strength, successfully rising to the forefront of global competitors.
TEAM RTP B (male team): secured 5th place worldwide.
TEAM RTP A (male team): achieved 10th place globally.
TEAM RTP C (female team): ranked 57th worldwide and 4th among female teams.
Pol. Lt. Gen. Udom expressed his gratitude for the encouragement and support from the Thai public for the police teams in this competition. The success of the Thai Police Special Operations teams at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2026 demonstrates to the international community that Thai police possess outstanding skills and capabilities at the global level.
