
Urgent! The Attorney General has decisively ruled to prosecute "Boss Min" and "Boss Sam" in the "The Icon Group" case, preparing to schedule a court filing. If they fail to appear, the DSI will track them down and deliver them for prosecution.
Case details "The Icon Group" Involving Mr. Yuranan Phamonmontri, known as Boss Sam, and Ms. Pitchaya Wattanamontri, known as Boss Min, were previously not prosecuted by the special prosecutor due to insufficient evidence and were subsequently released.
This led Pol. Lt. Col. Yuttana Praedam, Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), to dissent and recommend prosecution of Boss Sam and Boss Min on five serious charges. According to procedure, this dissenting opinion was forwarded to the Attorney General for final decision.
Recently, reports indicate that on 17 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the Attorney General issued a final ruling sent to the Special Prosecutor's Office, agreeing with the DSI Director-General’s recommendation to prosecute both suspects.
The next step is for the special prosecutors to schedule a meeting for the two suspects to meet with prosecutors to file charges according to the Attorney General’s ruling. If the suspects fail to appear, the Special Prosecutor's Office will instruct the DSI to apprehend and deliver them to prosecutors for court filing in the Criminal Court.
