Cyber Police Crack Down on “betmazon.net” Gambling Network Using Bakery Equipment Company as Front, Money Flowing at 120 Million Baht

Cyber police raided the “betmazon.net” network, arresting one admin. They discovered a company distributing bakery equipment and selling bakery goods as a front, while behind the scenes customers placed online bets. The operation involved a turnover exceeding 120 million baht per month, or over 1.44 billion baht annually.

On 20 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Pol. Lt. Gen. Suraphol Prembut, Commander of the Cyber Crime Division, together with Pol. Lt. Gen. Naradet Tipraks, Commander attached to the Royal Thai Police Office, and Pol. Maj. Gen. Sarayut Chunnanawat, Commander of Cyber Crime Division 2, ordered Pol. Col. Torsak Panklinphut, Superintendent of Division 4, Cyber Crime Division 2, Pol. Lt. Col. Ekarin Sannak, Deputy Superintendent of Division 4, and Pol. Capt. Praphat Somwong, Analyst in Division 4, Cyber Crime Division 2, assisted by Lt. Rtt. Kukkiet Chertsungnoen, Deputy Inspector of Division 4, conducted the operation.

They executed search warrant No. 28/2569 from the Phrae Provincial Court to search a house in Village 5, Thung Hong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phrae Province, arresting Natthachai Saengthong, 32, and seized one mobile phone as evidence.

Investigation by the Division 4 Cyber Crime team found the website “betmazon.net” had over 25,000 members and had operated for more than one year. It showed turnover exceeding 120 million baht per month, or more than 1.44 billion baht annually, illegally offering online gambling services including lottery, slots, international football betting, baccarat, and various other gambling types.

The site used an automated bank transfer system under the legal entity of WeGreen Healthy Bakery Co., Ltd. Players could withdraw funds directly via the website, with site admins assisting with issues such as registration, financial transactions, and promoting online gambling participation on the site.

Further investigation revealed that the company's bank accounts were registered under a business distributing and selling bakery equipment, but evidence showed it was a front company with no real business operations. The company's bank accounts were used for the online gambling business, which was based in Mueang Phrae District. Authorities gathered evidence to obtain a search warrant before arresting Natthachai with seized evidence.

During preliminary interrogation, Natthachai admitted being hired as an admin, answering customer inquiries on the website for over a year and receiving 15,000 baht per month. Police are preparing to expand investigations to all involved in this network.

Charges are being filed for “organizing gambling, or using schemes to entice, advertise, or directly or indirectly invite others to gamble via electronic media without permission from authorities.” Natthachai was detained and transferred to the Mueang Phrae Police Station for legal proceedings.
