Another victim has come forward to report that the aggressive young man drew a gun and fired three shots, claiming a covered ice delivery pickup truck cut him off. He then said it was a misunderstanding before fleeing on a motorcycle. It is confirmed he is the same individual who assaulted a 60-year-old woman at an ice shop.
At 14:00 on 21 February 2026, Police Lieutenant Thotsathorn Pakpiantap, deputy investigator at Bang Bua Thong Police Station, received a report from Mr. Boonmee Nakammul, 54, a driver at an ice factory in Bang Bua Thong. Mr. Boonmee reported that at 05:30 on 21 February, while sitting and drinking coffee with 2-3 co-workers inside the factory pavilion waiting for a truck to load ice for delivery, an unknown man wearing a black shirt and brown shorts rode a blue motorcycle with unknown license plate, drew a firearm of unknown caliber, and fired three shots toward where they were sitting. Mr. Boonmee was injured by a bullet grazing his right arm.
The assailant then dismounted his motorcycle and approached them carrying a fruit knife. He said that a covered pickup truck in the factory had cut him off. Mr. Boonmee replied that there were no covered pickup trucks inside the factory. The assailant then said it was a misunderstanding, got back on his motorcycle, and fled. Mr. Boonmee subsequently reported the incident to the police.
Later, reporters visited the ice factory but did not find Mr. Boonmee, who was resting and scheduled to deliver goods at midnight and was unavailable for interview. However, staff confirmed he is the same person who assaulted and kicked the elderly ice shop owner currently in the news.
